Beginner Potters Wheel Drop In class for Adults ages 18+
Located at the Art Spot in Silverthorne, CO
Every Tuesday Night from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
$40 per seat
*Tickets are non refundable unless class canceled by the instructor. There must be a minimum of 4 students attending to resume a scheduled class, otherwise can be cancelled by instructor due to low attendance.

This Drop In Class is designed for students who want a refresher, introduction, or visitors who want to take one class. If you would like to experience the whole process of pottery making from start to finish, please take the 3 week course series.

*For this specific class ANY pieces made during this class will be recycled into the clay recycling bin at the end of class.

Learn the basics of throwing on the potters wheel and practice the fundamentals of centering clay, pulling up the walls and shaping. Ceramics is a multi step process and pieces will need to be dried and fired in the ceramic kiln and may take up to 2 weeks. Joining a later date glazing class is recommended to glaze and complete ceramic pieces. Glazing classes are every last Tuesday of the month.

Class takes place in the ceramic studio of the makerspace.
